Job summary

MATHESON is seeking an experienced sales professional to grow accounts in the industrial sector, including gases and welding supplies. You will engage customers in-person and remotely, manage pipelines, and support training and demonstrations to drive orders.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years in industrial sales, a proven track record in account development, and the ability to prepare compelling presentations and proposals.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in Industrial Sales, preferably gases or welding supplies.
• Proven track record in sales and account management and development.
• Experience with sales presentations and demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Compiles lists of prospective customers for sales leads from various sources.
• Travels within territory to call on customers and solicit orders by phone or in person.
• Demonstrates products using samples or catalogs and highlights key features.
• Quotes prices and terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Coordinates customer training and enters data into the CRM/database.
• Attends trade shows and supports inside sales when needed.
