Job summary

MATHESON is seeking a dynamic Industrial Sales professional to establish new accounts and expand sales of cylinder gases, welding equipment, safety and PPE within an assigned protected territory. The role reports to the Regional General Manager and requires strong relationship building and strategic account growth.

• 2-5+ years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in gases/propane/welding supplies/safety supplies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven track record in sales development & account management.
• Understanding of profit margins and effective quoting.
• Professional presentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish new accounts and maintain/grow existing sales of cylinder gases as well as welding equipment, safety and PPE products throughout the assigned protected territory.
• This role reports to Regional General Manager.
• Manage and grow the assigned territory, maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Demonstrate understanding of margins and provide accurate, competitive quotations.
