Job summary

Baldwin Supply Company is seeking an outside sales representative to drive revenue in an assigned Des Moines, IA territory. This field-based role conducts in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations to understand client needs and close deals.

You will travel to client sites, build lasting relationships, and meet sales quotas while promoting Baldwin’s power transmission, conveyor belting, and industrial supply offerings.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in industrial markets is required.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage a sales territory.
• Proficient with CRM software and digital communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote Baldwin’s power transmission, conveyor belting, electric motor, automation and industrial supply products.
• Identify target prospects and create strategic plans to convert prospects into customers.
• Build and sustain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Provide best-in-class customer service and technical expertise.
• Coordinate with product specialists and inside sales to manage current and secure new business.
• Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to Baldwin.
