Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a field-based Sales Representative to generate new business and grow existing accounts in a defined region. You will assess product applicability, present cost-benefit analyses, provide technical training to clients, and support sales with engineers as needed.

The role includes travel, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with colleagues on selling strategies. A four-year degree and valid driver's license are required, with extensive overnight travel

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering, Marketing, Business preferred.
• Two years outside sales experience in a similar industry with a degree, or
• One year as Altec Sales/Technical Sales rep with successful completion of Altec Sales Training.

• Answer questions about products, prices, availability, and credit terms.
• Arrange installation and test-operation of machinery.
• Travel extensively to meet customers and assess market conditions.
• Prepare sales contracts and proposals with product specs and applications.
• Provide ongoing technical support and feedback to product design.
