Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the El Paso, TX site on the 2nd shift. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and facility upkeep to support electrical assembly operations.

The position offers an hourly rate of 24.50 with a variable incentive plan, and requires a strong electrical/ mechanical background, schematics literacy, and the ability to work with diverse teams across manufacturing and EHS departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial facilities maintenance.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the electrical field (24V–480V preferred).
• Experience utilizing hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical schematics in troubleshooting scenarios.
• No relocation is provided for this position; reside within 50 miles of the El Paso, TX facility.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair equipment to identify root causes.
• Mechanical and general facilities repairs (painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, HVAC, welding, roofing, landscape, etc.).
• Troubleshooting and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, and Control systems.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities (5S+, TPM, Set Up Reduction).
• Supervise outside contractors on plant projects and repairs.
