Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift in El Paso, TX. The role involves preventive maintenance and repair of facility and production equipment, reading diagrams, and supporting CI efforts.

Minimum 3 years in facilities maintenance and 1 year in electrical work are required. We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly rate of $24.50 with eligibility for a variable incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED; 3 years in commercial/industrial facilities maintenance; 1 year in electrical field (24V–480V).
• Preferred: 5+ years in facilities maintenance; 2-year tech degree or cert in electronics, electrical power and controls, fluid power, HVAC or basic PLC.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair equipment to identify root cause.
• Carry out mechanical and general facilities repairs including HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities (5S+, TPM, Set Up Reduction).
• Supervise outside contractors on plant projects and repairs.
