Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is hiring an Estimator II for our National Industrial team.

This role focuses on creating and analyzing detailed cost information during preconstruction for high-tech manufacturing plants, laboratories, and biotech facilities with cleanrooms and R&D labs. The Estimator II will work with preconstruction managers and other estimators, perform quantity take-offs, and solicit subcontractor pricing to support budgets and bids.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering, architectural or management degree required, or experience in relevant field.
• 6+ years commercial construction experience.
• Ability to read and understand project plans.
• Proficiency with CSI and Uniformat II work breakdown structures.
• Strong ability to perform thoughtful quantity take-offs and summarize data.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate conceptual and detailed estimates with the preconstruction team.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for budgeting and bidding events.
• Scope, select and recommend subcontractors based on value and project needs.
• Create and monitor project estimate updates as scope evolves.
• Maintain data integrity and archiving of estimates and costs.
