Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia seeks a results-driven Business Development Representative to expand our Caterpillar product reach. You will build relationships, qualify prospects, and drive four machine sales per month at budgeted profit levels.

Ideal candidates bring sales experience, leadership, and a passion for customer service. You will work in a team, call on customers, visit in the field, and document activities in CRM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage at assigned store for walk in customers.
• Assist in maintaining retail presence at assigned store.
• Call assigned customer list on phone to develop prospects for selling machines.
• Visit customers in the field as needed for demonstrations, walk arounds and prospecting.
• Document coverage activities within the CRM.
• Execute sales process on perspective customer.
• Participate in team selling as needed for selling situations.
• Prepare quotes as required.
• Understand competitive product to be able sell against features.
• Resolve customer issues.
• Learn and sell value of products and services.
• Demonstrate the required proficiency level in the specified foundation competencies and skills.
• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
