Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking an experienced Industrial Department Manager to lead a growing engineering organization across industrial, utility, renewable energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, staff development, client relationships, and strategic growth. The successful candidate will direct operations, mentor teams, manage budgets and schedules, and oversee programs spanning power, automation, instrumentation, and civil

Qualifications

• BSEE, BSEET or MSEE preferred; BSME, BSMET or other degrees with significant heavy industrial controls and automation background will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary industrial engineering department serving industrial, utility, renewable energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure clients.
• Direct department operations including staffing, quality, project execution, safety, mentoring, client relationships, and financial performance.
• Guide complex power, controls, instrumentation, automation, civil/structural, and multidisciplinary programs from strategy through delivery.
• Develop standards, tools, processes, and execution practices that improve quality, consistency, efficiency, and client value.
• Partner with leadership to support business development, capture planning, proposals, and long-term growth.
