Job summary

EAD is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a skilled team across industrial facilities. You will personally produce and stamp deliverables while guiding project scope, schedule, and budget.

Ideal candidates will have PE licensure, strong leadership, and a track record in proposals and risk management within multi-disciplinary projects. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; related experience may be considered.
• Active PE license and stamping deliverables as the professional engineer of record.
• Experience leading teams, proposals, staffing, and execution planning.
• Experience working with multi-discipline project teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interact with clients and decision makers.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering team by setting priorities, assigning resources, and coordinating work to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identify follow-on opportunities, and partner with BD and project leaders to grow the electrical team.
• Balance workloads across engineers and designers to maximize productivity and avoid burnout.
• Lead electrical portions of proposals and estimates, including scope, staffing assumptions, and risk identification.
• Review electrical work to ensure sound technical judgment and PE stamping where required.
• Mentor and develop engineers toward PE licensure and leadership roles.
• Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning for the team.
• Develop and maintain department processes, tools, and standards to improve quality and efficiency.
