Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks Industrial Engineering Interns to join our summer internship program. The Manufacturing Engineering organization designs and optimizes production lines in our 5M sq ft Arsenal-1 facility, working on static and moving equipment, sensors, and integration with analytics and quality teams.

You will lead data-driven projects, develop capacity plans, and learn to translate metrics into improvements while collaborating across Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Operations,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Returning to school after internship for at least one quarter or semester.
• U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information; clearance may be required.
• Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead projects to optimize and improve systems, processes, and manufacturing operations, leveraging a data driven approach.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement including high variation processes, imbalances and bottlenecks caused by line layout, equipment constraints, staffing shortages.
• Translate and drive action from metrics, KPIs, and reporting associated with production line health and efficiency, such as cycle time, throughput rate, capacity, utilization, and first pass yield.
• Produce and maintain capacity plans, balanced line layouts, staffing allocations, and time standards for manufacturing work content.
• Work across domains, from execution-based work to the strategic future state of a product or business line.
