Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to own and optimize manufacturing processes in a high-growth environment. You will build a 3D virtual factory model, generate feasible shop floor schedules, and drive data-driven improvements across production lines and facilities at Arsenal-1.

The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing, experience with DES tools or programming, and the ability to work with ambiguity while coordinating with Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality. U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Plant Simulation or equivalent DES (Promodel, FlexSim, Simio, etc.) or programming or data large datasets with SQL/No-SQL.
• Ability to read facility drawings, assembly drawings, technical specs for manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work in ambiguity.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Capture the current process including constraints and logic into a 3D simulation-based virtual factory.
• Create feasible results, plans and schedules for shop floor, warehouse, factory & supply chain execution across time ranges.
• Maintain an adaptive, data-driven virtual factory as a current-status reference for future projects.
• Own the design of new production lines and workstation layouts for low and full-rate production.
• Identify high-variation processes, bottlenecks, and drive to resolution with owners across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality.
• Translate metrics and KPIs into actionable production improvements.
• Produce and maintain capacity plans, balanced line layouts, staffing allocations, and time standards.
• Collaborate across domains to scale next-generation defense products.
• Work across execution and strategic future state of products or business lines.
