Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking Industrial Engineering Interns to join a summer internship program. You will work with a team of Industrial Engineers to optimize manufacturing operations at a large facility, using data-driven methods to improve quality, reliability, speed, and asset utilization.

You'll design production lines and processes, mentor alongside seasoned engineers, and present findings to multiple teams including Manufacturing Operations, Analytics, and Quality during a 12-week summer

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue studies for at least one quarter/semester.
U.S. person with eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled information; U.S. clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

Own and lead projects to optimize and improve systems, processes, and manufacturing operations using data-driven methods.
Identify opportunities for improvement including high-variation processes, bottlenecks, and line-layout constraints.
Translate metrics and KPIs into actionable insights for production line health and efficiency.
Produce and maintain capacity plans, balanced line layouts, staffing allocations, and time standards.
Collaborate across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to drive results.
