Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) offers an internship program across our recycling centers, fabrication plants, manufacturing facilities, steel mills, and offices. You’ll gain hands-on experience in real-world projects from day one and receive mentorship from industry professionals.

You’ll be exposed to multiple departments, enabling a broad understanding of our business and operations while contributing ideas to innovate and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or similar field.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train to learn hands-on industrial/engineering technologies.
• Complete time and motion studies and analyze results.
• Document findings and report changes to leadership.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives and project work.
• Create/update process flow layouts and support operations.
