Commercial Metals Company is seeking interns to learn hands-on in its recycling centers, fabrication plants, and facilities. You will cross-train across departments, document improvements, and work with leadership on optimizing processes while gaining exposure to multiple roles.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Industrial Engineering degree with junior/senior status preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication; able to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train across departments to learn hands-on industrial/engineering skills.
• Document, report and suggest changes to processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve and sustain processes.
• Create, review and update process flow layouts.
• Contribute to process-improvement initiatives and projects.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through process, quality and safety improvements.
