Commercial Metals LTD is seeking an Industrial Engineering intern to gain hands-on experience across our recycling centers, fabrication plants, manufacturing facilities, steel mills, and offices. You will be mentored by industry professionals and participate in cross-department projects to learn and contribute from day one.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated quantitative/analytical ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork.
• Proactive, self-driven with results focus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Currently pursuing an Industrial Engineering degree (Junior/Senior).

Responsibilities

• Cross-train across departments to learn hands-on skills.
• Document and report changes for process improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve and sustain processes.
• Create/Review/Update process flow layouts.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through process, quality, and safety improvements.
