Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial/Systems Engineer in Madison, Alabama to analyze and design operating sequences, improve production layouts, and optimize efficiency. Qualifications
- BS in Industrial/Systems Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in related role.
- Strong foundation in statistical data analysis to set production standards.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with tools like AutoCAD, simulation software, and ERP systems.
- Clear verbal and written communication to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and design sequence of operations and workflow to improve production efficiencies.
- Establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- Conduct studies on cost control, cost reduction, inventory control and production records.
- Develop and implement manufacturing standards and programs for operational efficiency.
- Assist facilities engineers in planning and design of facilities.
