Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Ocala, FL, to analyze and redesign workflows for improved efficiency in production facilities. You will lead layout designs, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate on Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and boost productivity.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance; US citizenship is required due to facility access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ year in industrial engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven data analytics and statistical analysis capability.
• Experience developing large layout designs for equipment and workspaces to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to improve efficiencies in plants and facilities.
• Establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
• Develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revised operating methods.
• Support accident prevention measures and training programs as needed.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles.
