Job summary
Lockheed Martin in Florida is seeking a qualified Industrial Engineer to analyze and design production workflows, optimize facility layouts, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
You will partner with Manufacturing and Facilities Engineering to support line design, capacity planning, and throughput optimization, while establishing metrics and ensuring security clearances are maintained.
Qualifications
- Industrial Engineering experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Experience analyzing production data to identify issues and improve processes.
- Experience with Lean, Value Stream Mapping or Process Mapping.
- Experience with production planning and capacity analysis.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and design production workflows to improve efficiency.
- Develop plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Facilities Engineering on line design and layout.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics related to cost, schedule, and throughput.
- Support training programs for personnel on production operations.
