Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 3–7 years related experience.
• Strong time study skills and capacity planning understanding.
• Experience eliminating productivity constraints and performing capacity & cost analysis.
• Experience developing simulation models of manufacturing processes.
• TPS knowledge and SAP familiarity.
• Experience supporting customer quotes and cost factors.
• Team leadership and project management with strong communication.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain capacity planning models for multiple manufacturing lines and testing areas.
• Lead in the design of plant layouts supporting multiple lines.
• Assist in development and justification of Capital Expenditures.
• Support product launches with technical input.
• Drive continuous improvement to achieve Lean Manufacturing.
• Apply standard engineering techniques and adapt as needed.
• Assist in developing a 5-year plant capital budget.
• Provide process input into Customer RFQs for new/existing products.
• Support development of product routings in SAP.
• Promote quality and a culture of continuous improvement.
