Job summary

Yanfeng US Automotive Interior Systems I LLC seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead lean initiatives, optimize labor, and design facility layouts across plant operations.

You will drive value stream mapping, develop capital plans, and mentor engineering teams while collaborating with operations, program management, and CI teams to ensure readiness for new launches and advanced manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Operations Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years in automotive industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale lean manufacturing and CI initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity.
• Develop facility flow improvements to enhance material movement and floor space utilization.
• Lead value stream mapping and develop future-state roadmaps with measurable targets.
• Champion Kaizen events and facilitate cross-functional teams to eliminate waste.
• Establish and monitor IE performance metrics aligned with plant objectives.
• Provide IE leadership for labor productivity and manufacturing optimization.
