Job summary

ZF Group is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing processes, improve quality, capacity and capability. Role involves developing capacity models, plant layouts, and supporting capital expenditures for multiple lines.

You will aid in Lean initiatives and provide SAP-based routing input, with a focus on continuous improvement. Bachelor’s in engineering with 3–7 years of experience, strong time-study skills, and familiarity with TPS/SAP are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 3–7 years related experience or equivalent.
• Strong time study skills and solid capacity planning understanding.
• Experience eliminating productivity constraints and analyzing capacity & cost impacts.
• Experience developing small-scale simulation models of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of TPS and ERP tools (SAP).
• Experience supporting customer quotes and cost factors.
• Leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office with advanced Excel.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt training with practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain capacity planning models for multiple lines and test areas.
• Lead plant layout design for multiple manufacturing lines.
• Assist in developing and justifying Capital Expenditures.
• Provide technical support for new product launches.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement in Lean manufacturing.
• Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques with judgement.
• Coordinate 5-year plant capital budgeting.
• Provide process input for CRs on new and existing products.
• Support development of product routings in SAP.
