Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking an Industrial Engineer II to lead and maintain the engineering program across warehouse and delivery operations in the US and international locations. You will audit, design and implement process changes, and train leadership on engineering methods, while guiding junior engineers through the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include ELS updates, PWMs training, system configuration, site audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize throughput and safety.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• MBA is desirable but not required.
• Minimum 3+ years in Industrial Engineering in large-scale logistics or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineered labor standards for operations.
• Analyze operational activities using WMS, LMS, telematics, routing, and SQL queries.
• Lead engineering initiatives on work methods, ergonomics, and process improvement.
• Lead site audits and validate engineering program configurations.
• Maintain parameters and configuration data for warehouse and labor systems.
• Conduct QA reviews of engineering docs and data analyses.
• Develop labor models, simulations, and congestion models.
• Monitor use of prescribed methods and assist leadership with evaluations.
• Identify cost-benefit opportunities for senior leadership decisions.
• Serve as SME on labor utilization, equipment design, and productivity.
• Train on ELS, PWMs, IE, and work measurement concepts.
