Job summary
Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer 2 in the Supply Chain domain to apply industrial engineering disciplines across processes, systems, and equipment within fulfillment and distribution centers.
You will partner with SC Operations leadership to drive process improvement and automation for streamlined workflows. The role emphasizes data analysis, time study, simulation, and capacity planning to deliver impactful solutions in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering required.
- 3+ years Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience preferred.
- Experience with supply chain distribution/fulfillment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collect data and perform complex data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma to optimize operations for medium scope projects.
- Conduct time and motion studies and compare time standards to insights.
- Lead Standard Work efforts with operations and CI teams.
- Develop AutoCAD layouts for space planning and process design.
- Evaluate methods for optimal operations and design alternatives.
