Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer II, Supply Chain, to develop and maintain engineered labor standards, support governance and improve operational performance across multiple facilities. You will partner with operations leaders, lead improvement initiatives, and mentor junior engineers while driving data-driven decisions.

The role requires hands-on IE experience in large-scale logistics, proficiency with SQL, and exposure to labor management systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering or related IE field with experience.
• 3+ years’ Industrial Engineering experience in large-scale logistics, distribution, or operations.
• Experience with time study methodologies, MOST, MTM or MSD, time study software, and labor management systems.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Lean concepts preferred.
• Blue Yonder LMS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage engineered labor standards and prescribed work methods using industrial engineering tools.
• Support governance, data integrity, and compliance within assigned scope.
• Analyze operations using labor management, warehouse management and related systems; extract and analyze data with SQL.
• Partner with operations leaders and cross-functional teams to identify root causes and translate findings into actions.
• Lead or support multi-site improvement projects to improve productivity and labor utilization.
• Conduct onsite observations, audits, governance reviews, and performance validations.
• Validate configuration and data integrity for labor management systems.
• Apply IE methods to develop models and analyses supporting improvements.
• Identify opportunities; develop benefits, plans, and results tracking.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and share best practices.
