Nordstrom seeks an Industrial Engineer 2 for Supply Chain to apply industrial engineering across established and new processes, systems, and equipment. This role partners with FC/DC leadership to deliver data-driven improvements and automation that simplify workflows and operations.

The day-to-day includes data collection/analysis for capacity and cost/benefit, time studies, standard work leadership, and CAD layout development. A BS in IE and 3+ years of IE/Manufacturing exp.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years’ Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Experience in Supply Chain Distribution/Fulfillment (e-Commerce) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering.
• AutoCAD, simulation, and SQL query experience highly desired.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end IE discipline, processes and tools.
• Experience communicating with senior leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Collects data and performs complex data analysis to drive improvements.
• Leverages Lean Six Sigma to optimize operations and provide supply chain solutions.
• Conducts time and motion studies and analyzes labor standards.
• Leads Standard Work in collaboration with teams.
• Creates AutoCAD layouts for space planning and process design.
• Develops knowledge of distribution and fulfillment best practices.
