Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking an Engineer, Distribution Center Support to drive operational excellence in distribution operations. You will lead Lean initiatives, improve inventory accuracy, and accelerate order fulfillment while ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

The role requires collaboration with IT/systems teams to enhance reporting, utilize WMS, and mentor staff in value-added workflows and problem-solving, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution center environments preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and project management across distribution center initiatives (70%).
• Lead continuous improvement and lean activities (15%).
• Provide supervision and backfill for warehouse leaders (15%).
• Collaborate with IT/systems teams to implement system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, reports, and KPI tracking.
