Job summary

Highridge Medical LLC is seeking an Operations Engineer to identify and lead process improvements in the distribution center, enhancing customer service and throughput.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors, strong problem-solving, and 3–5 years of industrial/manufacturing engineering experience with Lean/Six Sigma exposure.

Qualifications

• B.S. in industrial, mechanical, or other engineering science.
• 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience; knowledge in Lean Principles and or Six Sigma or other problem solving methodology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to increase throughput and improve customer service.
• Lead projects with internal and external teams to meet objectives and milestones.
• Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders and external vendors to set priorities and drive schedules.
• Lead effective meetings and document discussions, decisions and future steps for alignment with partners.
• Generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in compressed time periods.
• Promptly communicate project status, risk analysis and mitigation plans.
• Regularly produce clear summaries for leadership on project progress.

Operations Engineer

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that improve the Distribution center’s ability to deliver exceptional customer service and optimize internal processes to increase throughput.
• Work independently with internal and external teams to identify high impact projects and act as owner in delivering on project objectives and targets.
• Partner with internal teams, stakeholders and external vendors to set project priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules to meet deadlines.
• Lead effective meetings by setting objectives, putting the right people in the room and driving detailed business and technical discussions/alignment. Document meeting discussions, decisions and future steps, ensuring alignment on expectations with internal partner teams and outside vendors.
• Generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in compressed periods of time.
• Promptly and accurately communicate project status, risk analysis and risk mitigation plans.
• Effectively answer project questions in detail and regularly produce clear and concise summaries for the project to leadership/management team.

• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.

Education/Experience Requirements
