Qualifications

• BS in engineering or science; related degrees considered.
• Five+ years in client-facing roles (sales, BD, PM, engineering support or consulting).
• Established professional network in NC and/or SC; willing to relocate to Charlotte/Greenville area.
• Direct experience in energy-intensive manufacturing, data center development or power infrastructure.
• Sufficient technical depth to converse with plant engineers and define scopes.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with CRM and opportunity tracking.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory and across the Americas.

Responsibilities

• Develop key accounts and markets in Ramboll's target industries across the Carolinas; focus on energy-intensive industries, data centers and power infrastructure.
• Own the Carolinas pipeline end to end: qualify leads, make go/no-go decisions, act as Tender Manager, keep records current in Dynamics 365.
• Support and grow existing accounts with total potential >$100M; build relationships turning projects into programs of work.
• Develop relationships with market groups, suppliers, contractors and economic development bodies in the region.
• Collaborate with Ramboll Environment & Health, Power Systems, Site Solutions and Air & Climate to cross-sell service lines.
• Advise clients on engineering and technology solutions aligning with their objectives; communicate with executives and engineers.
• Prepare proposals and work scopes with budgets and cost estimates; manage client relationships with tact and judgment.
• Contribute to securing $15M of internal authorizations per year via market positioning and client development.
• Continue education in markets like green energy, data center power and the circular economy; join professional affiliations.
