Job summary

Ramboll in Americas seeks an Engineering Business Development Professional – Industrial, Energy & Infrastructure to drive growth across the Carolinas and Southeast US. You will develop key accounts, manage the pipeline end-to-end and coordinate cross‑laboratory teams to secure multi‑million projects.

You'll work hybrid from Charlotte/Greenville area, travel regularly within territory and engage with clients, engineers and executives to translate needs into compelling proposals and long-term

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or science required or related field.
• Five+ years of client-facing responsibility in sales, business development, project management or consulting.
• Established professional network in North or South Carolina; residence in or willingness to relocate to Charlotte/Greenville area.

Responsibilities

• Develop key accounts and markets in Ramboll's target industries across the Carolinas.
• Own the Carolina pipeline end to end: qualify leads, decide go/no-go, act as Tender Manager and keep records current in Dynamics 365.
• Support and grow existing accounts with potential over $100M; build long-term programs across service lines.
• Coordinate with Ramboll Environment & Health, Power Systems, Site Solutions, and Air & Climate teams to cross-sell services.
