Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a leading global flooring manufacturer, is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of manufacturing equipment at our Thomasville, NC facility. You will service and repair machinery, plan preventive maintenance, and support process improvements across production lines.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and maintenance experience; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment required.
Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Maintenance, or related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machinery and equipment.
Learn production equipment processes to support troubleshooting and maintenance.
Execute preventive maintenance tasks and activities.
Monitor equipment performance and respond to routine maintenance needs.
Utilize testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Plan and implement process improvement initiatives and equipment modifications.
Attend job-related training and follow SOPs.
Perform housekeeping and other duties as required.
Work with maintenance, production, and engineering teams.
