Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years experience in maintenance of a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in installation and maintenance of pumps, bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, gearboxes, bushings, etc.

Responsibilities

• Services, repairs, adjusts and tests various machinery, devices and equipment related to the manufacturing process.
• Utilizes detailed knowledge of production equipment processes and operations to aid in machine troubleshooting and operation support.
• Collaborates on preventative maintenance planning and executes tasks with limited supervision.
• Identifies warning signs of impending equipment failure to assist with parts ordering.
• Monitors and reacts to maintenance needs, often independently.
• Uses mechanical and electrical test equipment, tools, and necessary resources to complete tasks.
• Complies with safety rules and implements improvements.
• Plans, implements, and documents process improvement measures.
• Attends job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follows established standard operating procedures.
• Performs general housekeeping and other tasks as assigned.
