Job summary

ASR Group's refinery division seeks an Electrical Technician to maintain electrical equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and optimal operation in a high-demand industrial setting.

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, you will troubleshoot 110–4,160 V controls, calibrate instrumentation, read blueprints and P&IDs, and collaborate with operations in a unionized environment. The role requires a Journeyman Electrician status or a two-year certificate and 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician status or two-year certificate required.
• At least five years of experience in industrial electrical applications preferred.
• Ability to regularly work overtime, rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Must demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation work per safety procedures.
• Work on electrical controls and circuits rated at 110 V, 440 V, and 4,160 V.
• Install and calibrate process-control instrumentation integrated with PLC-based control systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled automated machinery and conveyor systems.
• Read blueprints, P&IDs, single-line diagrams, ladder logic, and wiring schematics; update documents as needed.
