Job summary

ASR Group in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Controls Technician to maintain and repair process control, measurement and safety equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical/electronic problems, interpret schematics, and work with PLCs, PACs and HMI systems.

The role requires five years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a journeyman license. This on-site position offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience and/or training.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Journeyman license required.

Responsibilities

• Consult diagrams and technical documentation such as schematics, manuals, standards and codes.
• Install, configure, calibrate and maintain control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog & digital).
• Configure and program PLCs and PACs; install/terminate electrical, pneumatic and fluid connections.
• Inspect/test operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults; replace components.
• Assist Engineering in plant design, modification and hazard analysis; maintain control systems; perform scheduled maintenance.
