Job summary

Enviva is seeking an Electrical Technician to support production by troubleshooting and repairing electrical, controls and some mechanical systems on assigned shifts. You will analyze production data, improve uptime, energy use, and safety metrics while supporting facilities equipment.

Responsibilities include wiring, troubleshooting PLC devices, and ensuring calibration and proper operation. Candidates should have several years of electrical experience and a solid safety record.

Qualifications

• Two years of manufacturing experience.
• Four years of electrical experience.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for troubleshooting and repair.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to read regulation codes, sketches and blueprints.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safety practices and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and inspect electrical systems on heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled devices, motor control centers, VFDs, sensors.
• Wire and repair AC/DC circuits and distribution equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor parameters and adjust for safe, efficient operation.
• Adhere to OSHA and Enviva safety standards.
