Job summary

ASR Group in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Controls Technician to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on process control and safety equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical/electronic systems, configure PLCs/PACs, and support engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities include installation, calibration, routine maintenance, and assisting in design modifications. This role requires manual dexterity, working at heights, and strong safety practices, with competitive hourly wages and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Journeyman license is required.
Five years of related experience and/or training is preferred.

Responsibilities

Consult diagrams and technical documentation such as schematics, manuals, standards and codes.
Install, configure, calibrate and maintain control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog & digital).
Configure and program PLCs and PACs.
Install and terminate electrical, pneumatic and fluid connections.
Inspect and test the operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults.
Remove, repair, adjust and replace components; calibrate components and systems.
Assist Engineering in plant design, modification and hazard analysis; support process control systems.
Perform scheduled maintenance programs; ensure plant uptime.
