Job summary

Enviva LP in Wilmington, NC seeks an Electrical Technician to support production, troubleshoot and repair electrical, controls, and some mechanical equipment on assigned shifts. You will analyze data to improve safety, uptime, energy use, and process efficiency, and provide technical support across the facility.

Responsibilities include preventive/corrective maintenance, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of PLCs, motor controls, and high-voltage distribution.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of manufacturing experience.
• Four or more years of electrical experience.
• Proficient with basic computer use.
• Ability to read and apply electrical codes, blueprints and drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment and controls per OSHA and Enviva standards.
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled devices, MCCs, VFDs, instrumentation and sensors.
• Wire and repair AC/DC circuits and distribution equipment (480V/4160V).
• Play a role in safety, reliability and efficiency improvements.
• Support IT/communication networks and field devices.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
