Job summary

Enviva LP is seeking an Electrical Technician to support production by maintaining and repairing electrical, controls, and related mechanical systems on assigned shifts.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, MCCs, and drive equipment, interpret electrical drawings, and help improve safety, uptime, and energy use. Strong adherence to safety standards and teamwork are essential in our fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years manufacturing experience.
• Four (4) years electrical experience.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Adherence to safety rules and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and inspect electrical equipment on-site per OSHA and Enviva standards.
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled devices, MCCs, VFDs, instrumentation and sensors.
• Wire, repair, and replace wiring and electrical components up to 480V/4160V.
• Troubleshoot communications and IT technologies (D-Net, E-Net, Fiber Optic).
• Identify fixes to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
• Ensure calibration and reporting of abnormalities; monitor parameters for safe operation.
• Assist on additional duties as assigned.
