Job summary

Enviva is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heavy equipment in our pellet mill environments. You will work to ensure electrical systems meet safety, regulatory, and Enviva standards, interpreting drawings and wiring diagrams, and supporting PLC controlled devices.

Qualifications

• Must interpret and apply electrical codes and standards.
• Experience with PLCs, motor control centers, and drive systems.
• Ability to read sketches, blueprints, and work orders.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and safety mindset.
• Proficient with tools and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance work and inspections of heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled devices and 480V/4160V distribution gear.
• Inspect and repair wiring, sensors, and fixtures to minimize downtime.
• Interpret electrical drawings and control system schematics.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper PPE use during tasks.
