Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift in Springfield, TN. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment with an emphasis on electrical systems, including 480V motors and control circuits.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors and machinery, reading schematics, and collaborating with a team to minimize downtime. This contract-to-hire position offers weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Reading electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Experience maintaining electrical systems on industrial equipment.
• Work with up to 480V motors; troubleshoot and replace components.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Conduit wiring, circuits, and wiring installation.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
• Conveyor maintenance experience.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication.
• Mechatronics or electrical certifications preferred.
• Automotive high-volume manufacturing experience a plus.
• Schematic literacy and electrical symbol identification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production machines to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on equipment; identify root causes.
• Perform electrical maintenance on motors, circuits, and control systems.
• Read electrical schematics and blueprints to diagnose problems.
• Work with up to 480V motors; inspect, test, replace components.
• Service hydraulic and pneumatic systems; detect leaks and pressure issues.
• Run wiring and rewire circuits; install conduits.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on production and conveyor equipment.
• Change worn parts including batteries and electrical devices.
• Troubleshoot conveyors and other machinery to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate in a team-based environment; document maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance practices.
