Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a chemical cleaning manufacturing plant in Manchester, TN. The role supports industrial maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including motorized conveyors, three-phase motors, and PLC-controlled equipment.

You will work with two other maintenance team members to perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and weld using MIG/TIG techniques to keep equipment running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including three-phase power and AC/DC motors.
• Mechanical troubleshooting for conveyors, pneumatics and plant equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• MIG and TIG welding for maintenance and repair work.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs or similar PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial maintenance on plant equipment, including motorized conveyors, three-phase motors, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to ensure safe operation.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce unexpected breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems, including AC/DC motors and three-phase power systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems, including pneumatics and conveyors.
• Read blueprints and technical documentation to guide maintenance activities.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding to repair or fabricate components.
• Collaborate with a small team to plan and complete maintenance work orders.
• Assist with maintenance repairs to support production needs.
• Follow safety procedures when working with electrical systems and chemical-related processes.
