Aerotek in Cleveland, OH is seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility and production equipment, focusing on preventative maintenance, electrical work, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems to ensure safe, reliable operation. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues from schematics, performing HVAC maintenance, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

Minimum 4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including 480V systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints for electrical and mechanical systems.
Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance in an industrial facility.
Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting in a production or industrial environment.
Experience with mechanical repair and maintenance of motors, conveyors, and related equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot relays and other electrical control components.
Industrial facilities and facility maintenance experience.
Ownership of basic tools and a tool box suitable for maintenance work.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Repair and maintain production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and conveyor systems.
Perform regular preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment to minimize downtime.
Diagnose and repair issues involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Conduct electrical troubleshooting, including work with 480V systems and relays.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Perform facilities maintenance as needed, including light plumbing work (typically once per month).
Carry out preventative maintenance on HVAC systems; coordinate with external vendors for major facility repairs.
Troubleshoot PLC-related issues to support reliable operation of automated equipment.
Install, maintain, and repair motors, conveyors, and related industrial equipment.
Use hand tools and basic equipment from personal tool set to complete maintenance tasks effectively.
Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status and repair needs to relevant stakeholders.
Follow safety procedures and best practices while working on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
