Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st and 2nd shifts in DeWitt, IA to support production through coordinated maintenance planning and hands-on repairs. You will troubleshoot pumps, motors, hydraulics, PLCs, machining, and furnaces, and perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of maintenance work experience.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics, machining, electrical systems, automation, drives, and welding.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of PLCs, mechanics, furnaces, and combustion equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the production team to plan and execute maintenance activities.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on pumps, motors, hydraulics, PLCs, machining, mechanics, furnaces, and combustion equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs, ensuring optimal functionality of equipment.
• Assist in the development of capital projects, budgets, and financial planning.
• Analyze project requirements and follow up on current jobs, providing troubleshooting support.
• Determine contractor needs based on workload and manage building/property maintenance schedules.
• Support the Total Maintenance Program and adhere to safety job planning requirements.
• Apply lean principles to achieve organizational goals and results.
