Job summary

TTS' Industrial Services Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction activities on a large-scale industrial project in the Western U.S. You will direct field electrical operations, supervise craft labor, ensure safety, and deliver work on schedule, budget, and quality.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing electrical installations across heavy industrial projects and demonstrate strong leadership, planning, and workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; substantial construction experience.
• Significant experience supervising electrical construction on heavy industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of field electrical installations from equipment installation through startup.
• Experience managing union craft labor and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and practices.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with scheduling, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Proficiency with construction software applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical field operations within an assigned project area.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, including safety meetings and safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and project procedures.
• Monitor construction activities for adherence to specifications, schedules, and quality.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources for efficient execution.
• Manage labor productivity, forecasting, and workforce planning.
• Maintain short- and long-range schedules, including three-week look-ahead planning.
• Review and approve mobilization/demobilization of equipment and personnel.
• Track installed quantities and provide progress reports to controls teams.
• Prepare material requisitions for tools and consumables.
• Support testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Develop progress reports, staffing forecasts, and expenditure projections.
• Mentor, train, and evaluate field personnel; identify development opportunities.
