Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. The role emphasizes compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of facility electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical theory and power distribution.
Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards
Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults
Visual inspections of components and wiring for wear or damage
Lubricate and service electrical equipment for reliability
Perform electrical testing on power distribution and motors
Document inspections, test results and corrective actions
Enforce safety programs including LOTO and arc-flash awareness
Coordinate with customers and team on equipment condition and work performed
