Job summary
Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards to maintain uptime and safety across facilities.
Responsibilities include infrared thermography, visual inspections, and documentation of inspections and actions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in an industrial electrical maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
- Ability to develop preventive maintenance strategies aligned with standards.
- Proficient with electrical tools, diagnostic instruments, and testing equipment.
- Familiarity with arc‑flash studies and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of NEC rules and OSHA/NFPA 70E standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA.
- Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
- Inspect components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
- Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for reliability.
- Test power distribution systems, control equipment, and motors.
