Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead heavy industrial electrical construction projects across North America. You will manage safety, schedule, budget, procurement, and stakeholder communications from startup through commissioning.

The role requires 5+ years in project management, a degree in construction, engineering, or related field, and proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, and AEC Cloud tools. Travel about 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience in industrial electrical, Midstream energy, or power infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project execution from award through commissioning, startup, turnover, and closeout.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, schedules, procurement, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate activities among customers, engineering teams, field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Support project planning, staffing strategies, procurement plans, execution plans, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Maintain strong customer relationships while serving as the primary project contact.
• Identify risks, schedule impacts, constructability concerns, and operational challenges while implementing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, customer requirements, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence.
