Job summary

EC Electric seeks an Electrical Construction Assistant Project Manager for our National Technical Systems Group in Pasco, WA. This on-site role supports coordinating project docs, meetings, and scheduling with field staff and PMs.

You will help manage submittals, RFIs, change logs and budgeting in Viewpoint, ensuring timely billings and payments to subs. A strong reading of electrical drawings is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in construction projects.
• Proficiency with project documentation: submittals, RFIs and meeting minutes.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and understand specs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing project documentation including submittals, RFIs and minutes.
• Assist with supervision and directing project activities as assigned by the PM.
• Maintain change order, submittal and document control logs.
• Interact with subcontractors to obtain correct Owner/Manual documentation.
• Create Job Information Sheets and establish job files.
• Provide temporary supervision in PM's absence.
• Review electrical drawings and specs to support field teams.
• Assist with workflow breakdowns with Field Supervisors and PMs.
• Help ensure timely project billings per contract documents.
• Assist in preparing RFIs for quality submissions.
• Support PM to ensure timely payments to subs and vendors.
• Review/update construction schedules per PM/PX request.
• Assist with project budgets using Viewpoint with Field Supervisor.
• Coordinate payroll data accuracy with Payroll.
• Other duties as assigned.
