Job summary

EC Electric in Hermiston, Oregon seeks an Electrical Construction Assistant Project Manager to provide high-level coordination with our construction project management and field staff for the National Technical Systems Group. You will assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, document control, and budget setup to ensure timely payments and accurate schedules.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with construction project management and field staff.
• Support documentation management including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Assist with change orders, document control, and scheduling updates.
• Help ensure timely payments to subcontractors and vendors.
• Assist in budget setup and payroll data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs and project meeting minutes.
• Assist with supervision and directing project activities as assigned by the PM including planning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained, etc.
