Job summary

Amteck is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial/manufacturing environments. You will ensure NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards compliance to maintain reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include infrared thermography, visual inspections, electrical testing, and safe operation. Strong communication skills and documentation are essential; travel up to 100% may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires strong knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
• Experience developing preventive maintenance strategies per industry standards.
• Proficient with reporting, uploading, and sharing project information.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults and heat signatures.
• Inspect wiring and components for wear or damage and perform servicing as needed.
• Test power distribution systems, control equipment, and motors for proper operation.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, test results, actions, and recommendations.
• Support EHS initiatives and ensure safe work practices are followed.
